How to Prepare for Your Notary Visit

Avoid delays by coming prepared with the right documents and ID.

To make your appointment quick and successful, bring the following:

  1. The document(s) you need notarized, preferably unsigned.
  2. A valid, government-issued photo ID (e.g., driver’s license, passport). Your ID cannot be expired more than 3 years.
  3. Any required witnesses (check first if your document needs them). If you do not have witnesses and your document requires them, please let us know ahead of time so we can arrange them for you.
  4. Be sure to address any questions about the document ahead of your appointment. These questions should be directed to the person/company that sent them to you or an attorney.

Bloomington Notary will confirm your identity, witness your signature, and complete the notarization process professionally and promptly.
